My youngest sister is 14 years younger than me. Every time I see her I am more amazed at how she’s grown (and a little bit terrified when I think about the ways she still has yet to). When she was younger and starting to get older, we used to say “Remember when you were a little baby??? You were so little, you’d fit right in our arms. Do it again, get small!” She’d close her eyes and squeeze her limbs against her torso, trying to be little again.
Sophie was in her first play a couple of weeks ago – a tree in The Jungle Book. She’ll be graduating from elementary school in just a few weeks, and I am just a forehead taller than her now.
